The Hamas Movement has congratulated the Palestinian people all over the occupied territories on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
“We salute the Palestinian people in Occupied Jerusalem” the Movement said in a statement for its spokesman for Jerusalem on Thursday stressing that Jerusalemites have been the spearhead of defending the Islamic Identity of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Movement hailed the Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank 1948 Occupied Palestine diaspora refugee camps and in the besieged Gaza Strip for voicing their support for the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Hamas also saluted the Arab and Muslim nations who have not hesitated to express their solidarity with the just Palestinian cause.
It called on the Palestinian citizens to continue mobilizing at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to defend it against the Israeli Judaization plans and the repeated settlers’ incursions.
Earlier today the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem announced Friday April 21 as the first day of Eid Al Fitr 2023 following the sighting of the crescent moon for the month of Shawwal.
