Hamas spokesman Jihad Taha has strongly denounced the Israeli war minister’s decision to allow Jewish settlers to return to the evacuated illegal settlement outpost of Homesh in the occupied West Bank describing the step as “aggression against the Palestinian people.”
In a statement on Thursday Taha described the decision to allow settlers to return to the evacuated outpost as a renewed crime against the Palestinian people and their land and a flagrant violation of all international norms and resolutions regarding Israel’s settlement activity.
The spokesman warned that all the Israeli violations in the Palestinian occupied territories including settlement expansion and demolition of homes would never succeed in breaking the Palestinian people’s will and steadfastness.
He stressed that such an Israeli step would be met with more resistance.
