The Hamas Movement has denounced the Israeli court decision to displace Palestinian citizens from Masafer Yatta area describing such a measure as “consistent with the Israeli occupation government’s fascist policies.”
“After the Israeli occupation authority recently allowed the establishment of six settlement outposts for terrorist settlers in Masafer Yatta area in southern al-Khalil the higher court of justice okayed a decision to displace Palestinian residents from their areas in Masafer Yatta at the pretext that it is a military training zone” Hamas said in a statement on Saturday.
The Movement stressed that such a court decision reflects that the Israeli judicial system acts in harmony with the Israeli government’s racist and fascist policies that are aimed at displacing the Palestinian people and Judaizing their land.
It expressed its belief that the Palestinian people would never allow the Israeli occupation state to carry out its illegal colonial plans and would strongly stand in the face of its schemes that target the Palestinian people’s existence on their land.
It called on the international community and the UN to stop adopting a policy of silence and passivity towards the Israeli occupation state’s crimes against the Palestinian people and its gross violations of the most basic human rights.
