Palestinian prisoner Najeh Assi a senior Hamas official is slated to undergo a medical procedure soon following his suffering from health problems.
Prisoner Assi suffers from frequent bleeding in his digestive system a sharp drop in his weight and anemia so he will have an endoscopic procedure in the coming days.
Assi was kidnaped by the Israeli occupation forces about two years ago during the large-scale arrest campaign that targeted a number of Hamas officials and cadres. He had spent a total of eight years in Israeli jails mostly as an administrative detainee.
