Europeans for al-Quds association has expressed deep concern about the plan proposed by a member of Israel’s Knesset aiming at imposing spatial division on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a press statement on Sunday the association said that Member of Knesset Amit Halevi’s plan constitutes a serious escalation of the apartheid crime adopted by the fascist Israeli government.
“The plan aims at Judaizing the Al-Aqsa Mosque and imposing the spatial division on it” the association warned adding that such a plan comes in an attempt to distort the fact that the Mosque is an Islamic holy place overall its whole area of 144 dunums.
The association underlined that the Israeli plan to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque coincides with its policy of forcible expulsion of Jerusalemite citizens from their homes warning that such Israeli crimes would escalate tension in the area.
It reiterated its continuous quest to stop the Israeli attempts to change the Islamic identity of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque calling on the United Nations and the European Union countries to act urgently to stop the Israeli Judaization plans against the holy site.
