A Palestinian young man was killed and two others wounded by Israeli gunfire in Husan town west of Bethlehem late on Monday.
The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the martyr as Zakaria Muhammad Zakaria Al-Za’oul 20 saying that he was shot in the head.
Head of Husan Village Council Rami Hamamreh affirmed that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the town amid heavy use of live fire and teargas bombs which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
A young man was shot in the head during the clashes before being pronounced dead in the hospital he added.
Medical sources stated that two other young men were injured during the clashes while a third was arrested.
Earlier Monday at least five Palestinians were killed including a 15-year-old after the IOF backed by helicopters raided the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank.
