Several buses carrying Palestinian citizens from 1948 occupied Palestine (Israel) arrived on Saturday morning in Jerusalem to support the Jerusalemites’ steadfastness in the face of Israeli violations.
According to local sources 70 buses carrying citizens from the Arab cities and villages in 1948 occupied Palestine entered the holy city to participate in the “Jerusalem Shopping Festival.”
Their participation in the festival is important to support the Jerusalemites’ steadfastness in general and the city’s markets and merchants in particular according to Palestinian officials.
Occupied Jerusalem is exposed to dangerous Judaization plans aimed at expelling its local residents from their homes and neighborhoods and controlling its holy sites especially the Aqsa Mosque.
In addition to the systematic demolition campaign targeting Palestinian homes and property in the holy city 150 Jerusalemite families composed of at least 1000 individuals are facing displacement from their homes in the Old City Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan after the Israeli occupation authority handed the owners eviction orders.
