An Israeli military court extended on Sunday the administrative detention of two Palestinian prisoners.
According to Asra Media Office an Israeli court extended the administrative detention of prisoner Anis Alawneh from Jaba town in Jenin for six months. This was the third time this court extended his detention.
Alawneh was kidnaped form his home by the Israeli occupation forces on June 27 2022.
The same court also renewed for the third consecutive time the administrative detention of prisoner Mustafa Kharroub from al-Jalazon refugee camp in Ramallah for an additional six months.
Administrative detention is incarceration without trial or charge and is widely used by Israel against the Palestinians solely at the pretext that a person plans to commit a future offense. It has no time limit and it is based on alleged secret files.
