Jerusalemite activists have renewed calls on Palestinian people to mobilize at the Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront the Israeli attacks against the holy site.
In a press statement on Saturday Palestinian researcher specializing in Jerusalem affairs Bassam Abu Sneina called on the Palestinian people to continue intensifying their presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to foil the Israeli Judaization plans.
“The Israeli attacks against the Al-Aqsa Mosque constitute part of the Judaization plans against the Mosque especially its eastern area” Abu Sneina warned affirming that the Israeli government encourages Jewish settlers to desecrate the Mosque.
Abu Sneina underlined that the Israel plans aim at eliminating Palestinian existence at Bab al-Asbat and Bab al-Rahma areas adding that the Palestinian people will not stand idle by while the Israeli occupation and its settlers desecrate the holy site.
Earlier today the Israeli police forces brutally attacked and arrested a number of Palestinian young men in the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards after closing the Asbat Gate.
