Three Palestinian administrative detainees on Saturday continued their open-ended hunger strike for the fourteenth day in a row in the Israeli Ofer prison.
Prisoners Anas Shadid 26 Mahmoud Talahmah 32 and Abdullah Abeido 36 from the al-Khalil governorate have been on hunger strike in protest at their ongoing administrative detention.
The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs underlined that Shadid and Talahmah are serving a 6-month administrative detention sentence pointing out that the Israeli court rejected a petition submitted against the administrative detention orders of both of them.
The Commission added that Abeido an ex-prisoner who spent five years in Israeli prisons is serving a 4-month administrative detention.
The number of Palestinian administrative detainees has reached 1083 detainees including 17 children and three women.
