The Hamas Movement has said that the recent Israeli attack against Syria constitutes part of the continued aggression against the Arab countries labeling it as “terrorist”.
In a terse statement on Sunday Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem stressed that the Syrian people have the legitimate right of self-defense calling on Arab and Muslim nations to be united while confronting Israel and its terrorist policies.
Earlier today Israel launched air raids on Syria aiming at locations near the city of Homs but Syrian air defenses shot down most of the Israeli missiles according to the official Syrian news agency SANA.
