Jenin massacre death toll rises to 10

Tuesday 4-July-2023

Israel’s bloody aggression on Jenin City and its refugee camp has continued for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.

According to the Palestinian health ministry the ongoing attack killed at least ten people including four minors and left more than 100 people injured; 20 of them are in critical condition. Another Palestinian was also shot dead by Israeli soldiers near Ramallah during pro-Jenin protests.

Deploying hundreds of forces attacking from the sky with drones and launching rockets on the densely populated camp of about 20000 people the Israeli military also targeted infrastructure by destroying homes and roads.

Army bulldozers were seen razing homes and streets leaving piles of rubble across Jenin.

The municipality of Jenin announced that water and electricity services had been cut off from the refugee camp because of ongoing attack. The Palestine Red Crescent said at least 3000 people were evacuated from Jenin.

The ongoing ground-and-air attack on the Jenin refugee camp is the largest Israeli military offensive in the occupied territory since the 2000-2005 second Intifada (uprising) against Israel’s decades-long occupation.
