Violent clashes broke out at dawn Tuesday with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in different flashpoint areas in the West Bank in solidarity with Jenin City and its refugee camps whose residents are being exposed to ongoing Israeli aggression.
According to local sources one young man was injured by live ammunition during dawn clashes with Israeli forces at the southern entrance of Jericho City.
The IOF also blocked Jericho’s southern entrance and prevented Palestinian vehicles from going in or out.
Similar clashes between local youths and Israeli forces also happened in different areas of Ramallah and Bireh.
Last night one young man was reportedly wounded when a Jewish settler opened fire at him during a settler attack on Deir Dibwan town in eastern Ramallah.
A horde of settlers also attacked Palestinian vehicles on a road near the illegal settlement of Beit El in the north of Bireh City.
In al-Khalil Palestinian young men clashed with Israeli soldiers in al-Fawwar refugee camp and at the main entrances of Dura and Halhul towns. Dozens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the events.
Meanwhile the sounds of gunfire and explosions were heard again last night and at dawn Tuesday in Jenin and the latest information is that more people have died bringing the death toll to 10 Palestinian martyrs so far from the Israeli military raid which is still ongoing.
There are four children and minors among the martyrs and about 100 wounded citizens 20 of them in critical condition.
A young man identified as Mohamed Hassanein was also pronounced dead at dawn Monday after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained during clashes with the IOF at the northern entrance of Bireh City.
