The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) released on Sunday afternoon Palestinian lawmaker Hasan Yousef a senior Hamas official after he spent several months in detention.
According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs MP Yousef was released today from Ofer jail where he had spent 20 months.
MP Yousef had spent a total of 24 years in Israeli jails mostly in administrative detention.
The last time he was taken prisoner happened on December 13 2021 after Israeli forces raided his home in Beitunia town west of Ramallah.
