Extremist Jewish temple mount groups organized an Israeli flag march at the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday evening.
The march which started at 6:30 PM from Buraq Square to the west of the Al-Aqsa Mosque headed to Al-Wad Street and then to the Al-Aqsa gates.
The temple mount groups have been calling for participating in massive raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque as a prelude to commemorating the so-called destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem.
Meanwhile Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said in a press statement today that the Palestinian people will continue defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the Israeli Judaization plans and the Israeli desecration.
Qassem underlined that Jewish settlers have been escalating their provocative steps against the Al-Aqsa Mosque adding that settlers&rsquo violations against the Mosque come as part of the religious war waged against the holy site.
Jewish settlers protected by Israeli police break into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on a semi-daily basis in an attempt to impose temporal and spatial division on the Mosque.
