Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani has urged Muslim worshipers to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque to protect it against desecration and Judaization by Israeli police forces and Jewish settlers.
In press remarks on Wednesday Sheikh Kiswani director of the Aqsa Mosque compound said that the permanent Muslim presence at the Aqsa Mosque is important to protect the Prophet’s legacy and the Muslims&rsquo right to their holy site.
He applauded the Jerusalemite citizens for their keenness on visiting the Aqsa Mosque and performing all the prayers inside it.
On Tuesday evening extremist Jewish groups staged a provocative flag march near the Aqsa Mosque’s gates under police protection.
