Member of Hamas’s political bureau Abdul-Jabbar Sa&rsquoeid has condemned the Israeli construction of a new settler outpost in as-Sawahira area in the east of Occupied Jerusalem as a &ldquoviolation of the international law.&rdquo
In press remarks on Sunday Sa&rsquoeid said that the building of this settler outpost means more Judaization of the holy city and more Israeli efforts to impose faits accomplis on the ground.
The Hamas official also accused the Israeli occupation police of persisting in attacking the sit-in tents in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Bustan describing such a practice as an aggressive attempt to deprive the local residents of their legitimate right to protest and demonstrate as a prelude to displace them from their homes.
He affirmed that such Israeli practices and the intents of settler groups to stage a flag march near the Aqsa Mosque soon to mark what they call the destruction of the temple are part of the religious war being waged on the Jerusalemites.
He stressed the need for Muslim worshipers to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque especially in its eastern area to prevent Jewish settlers from defiling the holy site in the coming days.
