The head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya on Saturday evening arrived in Egypt to attend Palestinian Factions&rsquo Secretaries General meeting set to be held on Sunday.
The Hamas Movement said in a press statement on Saturday that a high-ranking delegation from the Movement led by Haneyya arrived in Egypt to attend the Secretaries General meeting to be held in Alamein city.
The Movement underlined that the meeting comes as the Israeli occupation is escalating its violations against the Palestinian people and their lands and holy sites.
It added that it seeks to develop a strategic plan that aims at achieving Palestinian national unity and confronting the Israeli occupation.
Earlier today Palestinian activists launched a social media campaign to call on the Palestinian secretaries general to come up with a strategic plan to confront the Israeli occupation.
Palestinian Factions&rsquo Secretaries General meeting is scheduled to be held in the Alamein city on Sunday to discuss challenges facing the Palestinian cause and dangers threatening the Palestinian people and their holy sites.
