The Al-Aqsa Board of Trustees has warned of the considerable steps taken by the Israeli occupation to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque condemning the international inaction towards the Israeli violations against the Mosque.
In a press statement on Monday Fakhri Abu Diab a member of the Al-Aqsa Board of Trustees said that Israel is taking further steps toward changing the status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
&ldquoThe Israeli occupation has been carrying out excavations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to impose its Judaization plans and obliterate the Islamic landmarks of the Mosque&rdquo Abu Diab underlined.
For his part Sheikh Najeh Bakirat deputy head of the Islamic Awqaf Administration in Occupied Jerusalem said that the repeated settlers&rsquo incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and violations against the holy site aim at seizing control of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and building a Jewish temple in its place.
Meanwhile the Jerusalemite researcher Jamal Amr warned of the grave danger threatening the Al-Aqsa Mosque as Israel intends to implement new Judaization plans in the Mosque adding that Israel bans renovation and restoration of the holy site.
Earlier today 133 extremist Jewish settlers protected by the Israeli police broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and provocatively toured its courtyards.
