The Hamas Movement has condemned the Israeli high court of justice for dismissing a Palestinian petition calling for the removal of the illegal settler outpost of Homesh in the occupied West Bank saying the verdict reflected the Israeli judicial system’s malicious role in stealing Palestinian lands.
&ldquoThe so-called Israeli high court of justice’s rejection of a petition filed by landowners and families whose lands have been seized for the establishment of the Homesh settlement in the northern West Bank confirmed once again the complicity of the Zionist judicial system in covering up the occupation state’s settlement measures&rdquo Hamas said in a statement on Thursday.
Hamas accused all the Israeli official institutions including the judicial establishment of complementing each other and pooling their efforts to suppress and persecute the Palestinian people and plundering and Judaizing their lands in violation of the international law.
The Movement affirmed that such Israeli decisions would only be met with more Palestinian steadfastness and resistance across the occupied territories.
The Movement appealed to the international community and the UN to assume their responsibilities and work on ending the Israeli occupation curbing its ongoing crimes and violations and condemning the repressive decisions taken by its judicial enterprise.
