Tension has been running high in different Israeli jails as a number of Palestinian prisoners started to take protest steps in protest at punitive measures and administrative detention.
According to media reports on Tuesday the Israeli prison service transferred in the morning all the prisoners in section 4 of Ramon jail to Nafha jail at the pretext of carrying out a search operation.
Meanwhile prisoners affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) declared the launch of protest steps to confront the frenzied Israeli attack on them in prisons.
Last Thursday the administrative detainees in Ofer jail declared their intention to start a number of disobedience steps in protest at their illegal detention with no indictment or trial.
