There are about 40 Palestinian detainees being held in solitary confinement in different Israeli jails.
Those detainees especially senior Hamas official Ra&rsquofat Nasif suffer from harsh incarceration conditions. Nasif was kidnaped from his home in Tulkarem in June last year.
About one week after his arrest an Israeli military court approved his administrative detention for six months which was extended multiple times later. At the time he was transferred from his isolation cell in Negev jail to another one in Megiddo jail.
Prisoner Nasif has also been deprived for over four months from receiving visits.
The prisoner who suffers from different chronic health issues had already spent a total of 21 years in Israeli jails including 13 years in administrative detention.
