The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested two Palestinian fishermen including a minor off the Gaza shores on Saturday morning.
According to the Fishermen’s Committees the Israeli war boats opened gunfire at the fishermen in the northern Gaza Strip and arrested the two fishermen Anas Sharif Al-Sultan 27 and Muhammad Rafi Al-Sultan 14 after attacking their fishing boat in the Al-Sudaniyya area off the northern Gaza Strip.
The two detainees were later taken to the port of Ashdod.
Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking &mdash sometimes injuring or killing &mdash farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis with no regard for the mediated ceasefire deals in Gaza or even international law.
According to Palestinian figures roughly 50000 inhabitants of Gaza earn their living through fishing.
