Palestinian prisoner Hazem Al-Qawasmah on Saturday started his open-ended hunger strike in solidarity with his brother prisoner Hatem al-Qawasmah.
The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported that prisoner Hatem al-Qawasmah has been on hunger strike for the fifteenth day to demand his reunification with his brother.
The Commission added that many Palestinian prisoners in Rimon prison will start their open-ended hunger strike in support of prisoners Hazem and Hatem al-Qawasmah and with the administrative detainees.
Prisoners Hazem and Hatem al-Qawasmah are serving life imprisonment sentences and they spent more than 22 years in Israeli prisons. The Israeli prison service has been separating them for more than three years.
