A state of high tension has prevailed in Ramon jail since the morning hours of Monday when Israeli prison forces raided cells and transferred Palestinian prisoners to another section.
According to Asra Media Office Israeli prison soldiers forcibly removed the prisoners in section 5 of the Ramon jail and transferred them to section 8 which provoked tension in the entire detention facility.
This Israeli measure came one day after the Palestinian Captive Movement announced that the prisoners in Israeli jails would stage an open-ended hunger strike on September 14 to pressure Israeli jailers to end all the restrictions that were imposed on them recently and to reinstate all their rights.
