The Hamas Movement has called on the Palestinian Authority (PA) and its security apparatuses to side with the Palestinian people’s choices stop persecuting resistance fighters and immediately release all the political detainees from their jails.
In a statement on Tuesday Hamas said that the PA arrest campaign against resistance fighters affiliated with different factions which take place in coordination with the Israeli occupation state would not succeed in breaking the Palestinian people’s will and their adherence to the resistance option as a legitimate means to liberate their land and return to their homes.
The Movement also called on the PA to necessarily put an immediate end to the arrest of citizens for politically motivated reasons and stop providing flimsy pretexts to justify their detention.
