The Palestinian prisoners in Negev jail refused on Tuesday morning to take their meals and closed their sections in protest at arbitrary measures taken against them.
According to Asra Media Office the Negev prisoners decided to take such steps as a preliminary response to a number of measures that affected their vital needs.
A few days ago the administration of the Negev jail decided to deprive the prisoners in sections 26 and 27 of their clothing needs for six months.
Since this decision a state of high tension with the prisoners has been taking place in the jail.
In a separate incident prisoners Sultan Khallouf and Kayed Fasfous entered on Tuesday day 48 of the hunger strike they staged in protest at their administrative detention.
As a result of their prolonged hunger strike Khallouf and Fasfous suffer from multiple serious health issues according to their families.
