The Palestinian researcher Moa&rsquoth Ighbaria has revealed that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) opened a tunnel extending from the Al-Buraq Hall to the Umayyad Palaces adjacent to the southern walls of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Ighbaria told Safa news agency that the entrance to the tunnel is through the al-Maghariba gate in Silwan town adding that the tunnel has a height of 15 meters.
&ldquoThe tunnel has a museum that displays artifacts allegedly found during excavation operations in the Umayyad palaces&rdquo Ighbaria underlined stressing that opening the tunnel constitutes part of the IOA Judaization plans that aim at obliterating the landmarks of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Ighbaria pointed out that a film is displayed in three languages at the tunnel museum adding that it aims to promote the idea of the alleged temple.
