Spokesman of al-Quds Brigades the armed wing of Islamic Jihad Movement Abu Hamza said on Saturday that resistance fighters in al-Quds Brigades are engaged in the Aqsa Flood Battle.
&ldquoPalestinian resistance fighters in the al-Quds Brigades also managed to capture Israeli soldiers&rdquo Abu Hamza underlined adding that they are united with Al-Qassam Brigades until full liberation of the Palestinian lands and holy sites.
Abu Hamza affirmed that the battle is ongoing stressing that resistance is the only way to liberate the Palestinian lands and holy sites.
Earlier in the morning Mohamed al-Deif commander-in-chief of al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas announced the launch of Al-Aqsa Flood Operation in response to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians and the escalating settler desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
250 Israelis were killed while 1104 were wounded in the large-scale Palestinian operation which involved resistance fighters opening fire at soldiers and armed persons.
At least 232 people in the Gaza Strip have been killed in Israeli air strikes while 1610 others were wounded according to the Palestinian ministry of health.
