The head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya received a phone call from President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi on Sunday.
President Raisi expressed his appreciation of the Palestinian resistance fighters who launched the Aqsa Flood operation describing the operation as a &ldquovictory&rdquo.
&ldquoWhat you achieved is a pride to the Arab and Muslim nations&rdquo Raisi said affirming his country’s support to the Palestinian resistance and people.
For his part Haneyya hailed the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in support of Palestine stressing that the Palestinian resistance pushed the Israeli enemy to lose its balance.
Haneyya affirmed that the Palestinian resistance fighters carried out infiltration operations and managed to kill and capture hundreds of Israeli soldiers.
He underlined that the Aqsa Flood battle came in response to the repeated Israeli attacks and Judaization plans against the Al-Aqsa Mosque adding that the battle is still ongoing.
