Five Palestinian citizens were injured on Saturday when a horde of extremist Jewish settlers opened fire at them near Salfit in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources a group of armed settlers attacked olive pickers in Yasuf town near Salfit and opened fire at them injuring five of them.
Later Israeli forces who escorted the settlers clashed with local residents.
The Israeli occupation forces and extremist settler gangs have escalated their attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property in the West Bank since the Hamas Movement in Gaza launched a military operation against the Israeli army.
