Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said on Monday night that its fighters destroyed completely or partially 28 Israeli armored vehicles, including tanks, during the past 24 hours on different fronts of the Gaza Strip.
In a communiqué, al-Qassam Brigades added that its fighters ambushed and eliminated a number of Israeli soldiers at close range and fired volleys of rockets at Israeli areas and military sites in response to the ongoing massacres in Gaza.
“During the last 24 hours, al-Qassam fighters were able to completely or partially destroy 28 military vehicles on all combat fronts of the Gaza Strip. They targeted the infiltrating Zionist forces in their places, where they were deployed and positioned, with anti-fortification projectiles and anti-personnel explosive devices, and engaged in close-range fighting with them, killing many of them,” the Brigades stated.
Al-Qassam fighters also pounded military gatherings with heavy-caliber mortar shells and intensively fired barrages of rockets towards various Israeli targets inside the occupied territories.
