The Follow-up Committee of the National and Islamic Forces confirmed the unified Palestinian position, officially and popularly, of rejecting the conspiracy aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip to Sinai.
The Follow-Up Committee stressed, in a statement on Wednesday, the rejection of any project to resettle Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, whether in Sinai or elsewhere, saying that “our Palestinian people have only one homeland to live in, which is Palestine”.
The Palestinian factions warned against any agreement with the Israeli displacement project under pretexts of protection, humanitarian aid, or safety.
The factions stressed that whoever wants to protect the Palestinian people in Gaza must intervene to stop the genocidal war and open the border crossings rather than implementing the enemy’s goals by displacing the Palestinians outside their homeland.
The Palestinian factions appreciated the principled Egyptian position of categorically rejecting this conspiracy, calling for maintaining this stance and confronting the barbaric Israeli aggression and its criminal plans.
The factions called on the world to intervene urgently to put an end to this conspiracy by halting the genocidal war and driving the Nazi-Zionist occupation forces out of the entire Gaza Strip.
