Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has affirmed that the Palestinian people and their resistance are steadfast in the face of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and confident of achieving victory.
Haneyya made his remarks on Wednesday as he addressed the participants in a conference held in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, under the theme “The Sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Responsibility of the Muslim Ummah.”
Prominent religious scholars and leaders attended the conference that was held at the Jinnah Convention Center.
In his speech, Haneyya highlighted the main reasons for the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, especially the growing Israeli violations in Occupied Jerusalem and at the Aqsa Mosque.
The Hamas leader also talked about the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza and the important role that could be played by the Muslim nation’s religious figures to support the Palestinian people’s struggle at this turning point in the history of the Palestinian cause.
