A Palestinian young man was martyred at dawn Saturday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and injured him before kidnaping him from his home in Dura City, south of al-Khalil province.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 25-year-old Sari Amr suffered a serious bullet injury during an IOF raid on his home before kidnaping him and later the Palestinian Authority liaison office was informed of his death.
The martyr’s family said that Israeli soldiers opened fire at Sari inside the house and kidnaped him while he was bleeding along with his brother Suhaib, 23.
The family added that the IOF confiscated two cars and thousands of shekels belonging to them and rampaged through the house.
Meanwhile, a general strike was declared in Dura town in mourning for martyr Sari Amr.
