The Hamas Movement has offered its deepest condolences to the Kuwaiti people over the passing of Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, asking Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy upon him and make Paradise his eternal dwelling.
“As we console ourselves and the brotherly Kuwaiti people over the passing of his Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may Allah have mercy upon him, we remember, with pride, the State of Kuwait’s unwavering positions and noble roles … in support of the Palestinian people and in solidarity with them,” Hamas said in a statement on Saturday.
The Movement applauded the great and prominent political, diplomatic, humanitarian and relief role that is played by Kuwait to support the Palestinian people’s steadfastness during the brutal Israeli aggression against them in the Gaza Strip.
Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah died at age 86 today.
“With great sadness and sorrow, we – the Kuwaiti people, the Arab and Islamic nations, and the friendly peoples of the world – mourn His Highness the late emir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who passed away to his Lord today,” Sheikh Mohamed Abdullah Al-Sabah, the minister of the Emiri Court, said in a statement aired on state television on Saturday.
