The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed on Saturday two Palestinian young men in Beit Ummar town, north of al-Khalil, and near Tulkarem in the northern West Bank.
According to the Palestinian health ministry Salim Hajar, 25, was killed by the IOF near Tulkarem and Aziz Khalil, 20, was killed in Beit Ummar.
Khalil was seriously injured in his abdomen during violent clashes in Beit Ummar between local youths and Israeli soldiers, who intensively fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters.
Khalil was rushed to the hospital where he died of his critical injury.
As for Hajar, he was shot in his head during his presence with his brother near the separation wall in the west of Deir al-Ghusun town, north of Tulkarem.
Local sources said that an Israeli soldier at the separation wall’s gate opened fire at Hajar and critically wounded him in his head before the IOF kidnaped him along with his brother, adding that the young man succumbed to his injury at an Israeli hospital.
