Two Palestinian citizens, including a teenager, were shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during clashes with local youths in al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern al-Khalil on Tuesday.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 31-year-old Ibrahim al-Titi and 17-year-old Mohamed Yaghi were killed by IOF gunfire in al-Fawwar camp.
Local sources said that Israeli forces stormed the camp while firing live bullets and stun grenades at passersby, which provoked violent clashes between them and local youths.
The Red Crescent also affirmed that its ambulance crews evacuated a large number of wounded citizens from the camp, including the two who died of critical bullet injuries.
