Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed a Palestinian young man near al-Khalil on Friday afternoon after he rammed his car into a group of IOF soldiers.
Four IOF soldiers were wounded in the attack near the southern West Bank city of Al-Khalil on Friday afternoon, the Israeli army radio said, adding that the attack took place near Otniel settlement.
Media sources reported that the IOF opened fire at a Palestinian car at a military checkpoint in Wadi Al-Shahina area near Doura town in southern Al-Khalil after the car ramming operation took place.
IOF soldiers were deployed in the area and immediately launched a large-scale search operation as Israeli ambulance cars were heading to the scene of the incident.
The young man was later identified as Amr Abdulfattah Abu Hussein.
