UNRWA has said that the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip resulted in the largest displacement of the Palestinian people since 1948.
“100 days in 100 seconds. This has been the largest displacement of the Palestinian people since 1948,” UNRWA said on its X page on Monday.
“An entire generation of children is traumatized; thousands have been killed, maimed, and orphaned. People live through the unlivable,” UNRWA added.
The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to 24,100 martyrs, while the number of wounded civilians climbed to 60,834.
The relentless Israeli attacks also resulted in the displacement of more than 85 percent of Gaza’s population (about 1.9 million people).
