The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished at dawn Sunday two homes and took measurements of another one belonging to the families of three Palestinian martyrs in al-Khalil City, south of the West Bank.
According to local sources, Israeli forces with bulldozers stormed al-Khalil City, blocked several roads and imposed movement restrictions before proceeding with the demolitions.
The sources explained that the IOF bulldozers started at dawn to knock down the house of martyr Abdul-Qader al-Qawasmeh and then soldiers detonated the house of martyr Nasrallah al-Qawasmeh.
Before carrying out the demolitions, the IOF forced families living near the martyrs’ homes to leave their neighborhoods and cordoned off the areas.
The IOF also mapped the house of martyr Hasan Qafisha as a prelude to demolishing it later.
The three young men were martyred last November after they carried out a shooting operation at the Tunnel checkpoint in the south of Occupied Jerusalem, killing one Israeli soldier and injuring seven others.
