The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have been laying siege on Qusra town in southern Nablus for over two months.
According to local sources, the IOF has been blocking the entrance to Qusra town with mounds of rocks and dirt for about 70 days ago.
Qusra town, which is located near the illegal settlement of Migdalim, has been for years a site of repeated Israeli violations, including large-scale land grabs, demolition campaigns, settlement expansion, and attacks on the local residents and their property.
Qusra is well known for olive cultivation. It is flanked by three illegal Israeli settlements, Migdalim, built in 1981, Esh Kodesh, 2000, and Ahiya, 2001.
Qusra covers an area of 17,000 dunums, including over 9,000 olive-cultivated dunums that were seized by Israeli occupation authority to build and expand settlements and settler outposts.
