A Palestinian child was shot dead on Saturday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him near al-Jalazon refugee camp in northern Ramallah.
The child, identified as 13-year-old Mohamed Zaid, was killed by Israeli forces when he was walking with his friend near the separation wall, which is located close to al-Jalazon camp.
The Red Crescent said that one of its ambulance crews provided the child with emergency medical assistance before transferring him to Ramallah Hospital.
Local sources said that the IOF left the child bleeding for about an hour before telling the Red Crescent.
The other child, who was with the victim, suffered shrapnel injuries.
