Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed on Monday morning the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy Israeli police protection.
The settlers broke into the holy site from Al-Maghareba Gate, and performed Talmudic rituals during their provocative tours within its yards.
The raids came amid enforcing additional Israeli restrictions aimed at monitoring and persecuting Palestinians who visit the Mosque as well as restricting the entry of visiting worshipers into the site especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Palestinians renewed their calls urging masses to visit and stay at Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan to break the siege which has been imposed on the holy site for the fifth month in a row.
Campaigners also renewed the call to tweet the hashtag #Ramadan_TheFlood on all social media platforms, in rejection of the ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
Leaflets and posters have been circulated on social media calling for launching a general strike as the least that could be done to support Gaza, and to draw the world’s attention to the war of genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation inside the Strip.
