More than 2,000 medical personnel working in northern Gaza will begin their Ramadan without having anything to eat for suhoor or iftar, the health ministry in Gaza said.
“Medical teams are working around the clock in northern Gaza and do not find anything to eat,” spokesman for the ministry Ashraf al-Qudra said on Monday.
“The medical crews in northern Gaza have emaciated bodies because they do not find meals to eat,” spokesman Qudra added.
The spokesman called on international and relief institutions to provide ready-made meals to enable medical crews to carry out their work.
