The Israeli occupation army committed a bloody massacre murdering 50 Palestinian citizens in Al-Shifa Medical Complex and its environs in Gaza City in addition to arresting nearly 200 others, in a clear war crime and a flagrant violation of international law, the Government Media Office (GMO) said in a statement on Tuesday.
The GMO confirmed receiving field information about the execution of a number of children by the Israeli occupation army among those executed, who included civilians, patients, and displaced people.
According to the Office, Hundreds of heavily armed Israeli occupation soldiers, police dogs, and dozens of tanks, drones, and helicopters were involved in the raid on Al-Shifa Medical Complex, amid heavy shooting, shelling, and bombardment on the medical complex and toward patients, displaced people, and civilians, killing and injuring more than 250 civilians. Israeli forces set some facilities on fire inside the hospital.
The GMO denounced in the strongest terms the Israeli bloody massacre in Al-Shifa Medical Complex, holding Israel, the US administration, and the international community fully responsible for this horrific massacre.
It called on all UN and international organizations and the free world to intervene immediately and urgently to stop the genocidal war and to halt the ongoing heinous aggression on the Gaza Strip.
