As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 170 on Sunday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes, shelter centers and aid convoys, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds of citizens.
According to media sources, four citizens, including two children, were martyred when the Israeli army bombed a house belonging to the family of Abu Hamida in the west of Rafah, south of Gaza.
Five other citizens were injured in an Israeli attack on a house in as-Salam neighborhood in eastern Rafah, while bodies of four martyrs were evacuated from al-Qarara area in the northeast of Khan Yunis following Israeli attacks.
A little child called Yazan as-Sufi was killed when an Israeli tank attacked tents sheltering displaced families in al-Mawasi area in the west of Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, a number of citizens suffered injuries when Israeli forces stormed a house belonging to the family of Kahil near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Local residents in the area appealed to the Red Crescent to save them.
Three other citizens were injured by Israeli sniper fire near Al-Shifa Hospital before they were taken to the Ahli Arab Hospital.
The health ministry, for its part, said that five wounded patients died in the besieged Hospital of Al-Shifa as a result of the absence of food, water and medical services.
The Red Crescent said that one of its employees was injured in his head by Israeli gunfire inside Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis, adding that the hospital and its vicinity are under intensive gunfire attack.
Another civilian died after he was critically injured in his head during his presence inside the same hospital, according to the Red Crescent.
The Red Crescent also said that the Israeli army blocked all the entrances of Al-Amal Hospital with mounds of dirt and rocks.
The Israeli army also killed seven citizens and injured many others after bombing a house belonging to Farwana family in al-Faluja street in eastern Rafah.
Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
