The head of Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haneyya, said that Israel has failed to achieve any of its military and strategic goals, and now is going through an unprecedented isolation, despite the heavy prices paid by the Palestinians, especially in Gaza.
Haneyya told the press upon his arrival in the Iranian capital, Tehran, leading a high-level delegation from the Movement on Tuesday, that the US administration is no longer able to impose its will on the international community.
Haneyya discussed with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, during a meeting at the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s headquarters, the developments of the Palestinian issue, the Israeli aggression on Gaza, and the UN Security Council resolution issued on Monday.
Hamas representative in Tehran, Khaled Al-Qaddoumi, told the PIC that Haneyya intends to hold meetings with senior Iranian officials during the visit, addressing the Israeli war on Gaza, bilateral relations, the humanitarian situation, and resistance.
The Hamas delegation includes Head of Hamas Arab and Islamic Relations Office, Khalil Al-Hayya, Muhammad Nasr, Zaher Jabareen, Maher Salah, and Khaled Al-Qadoumi.
