Hassam Badran, member of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, said, “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu obstructs access to any agreement and only acts through media.” Badran added in a press statement on Sunday, “Netanyahu lies and misleads his people and deceives the families of the prisoners who daily demonstrate against him in the streets.”
He pointed out that Netanyahu seeks to make negotiations a mere process without results, and he only acts through media by sending delegations without authority, and he continues within this approach.
Badran mentioned that “Hamas exercises resistance in the field, and manages the negotiation process in defense of our people and in pursuit of achieving their demands and political aspirations, and it cooperates and coordinates with the active forces, factions, and resistance in all its movements.”
The Israeli occupation forces, supported by the United States and Europe, continue to commit the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip for the 177th consecutive day, through dozens of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and fire belts, committing bloody massacres against civilians and carrying out horrific crimes in the infiltration areas. The ongoing aggression on Gaza has led to the death of 32,782 citizens and the injury of 75,298 others, in addition to the displacement of about 85% of the population of the Gaza Strip, according to local authorities and international bodies and organizations.
