The Hamas Movement extended its appreciation on Monday for the lawsuit filed by the Republic of Nicaragua against Germany in the International Court of Justice (ICJ), demanding that judges impose emergency measures to stop Berlin from providing Israel with weapons and other assistance.
In an official statement, Hamas called on the countries of the free world “to follow the example of Nicaragua, South Africa, and other countries that refused to turn a blind eye to the genocide crime committed by the Zionist occupation in the Gaza Strip with clear support from Western capitals.”
Hamas called on the ICJ to come up with decisive resolutions to stop the ongoing war of genocide in Gaza, which has been ongoing despite the ICJ’s previous resolutions as well as all the international resolutions, agreements, and laws.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has continued its aggression against the Gaza Strip, with the US and European support, leading to the martyrdom of 33,207 martyrs, the injury of 75,933 others, and the displacement of about 85 percent of the population of the Strip, according to the Gaza authorities and international bodies and organizations.
